Durham-Duplex bade a farewell to Gary Darwent on 29th November 2024 as he hung up his PPE and retired after a long career as a manufacturer. He will be missed but he took care to ensure that he passed on the knowledge he gained on the way through to the next generation of engineers in the Company. Gary’s versatility meant he could do virtually everything as well as supervise production whether working the coilers, line grinding, bevel grinding or programming a CNC machine.

The team gathered to say farewell and everyone at Durham-Duplex wishes him a happy retirement.
